Who said that to burn fat you have to do long-term training with a lot of repetitions?
RM Trainer warns that it is possible to have effective results with short workouts. Our customers can confirm it!
If you are tired of having too much fat, take a few minutes of your day to do this routine. It's short but very intense. Everything that your fat hates!
Ever heard about Tabata circuits?
According to a Women's Health article (2021), the Tabata program was developed by Izumi Tabata at the National Institute of Physical Education and Sports in Tokyo, Japan. A study was done to compare the effects of intensity resistance training moderate (aerobic) and intermittent high intensity endurance training.
It consists of interval training: 20sec cycles of exercise at maximum intensity (as many repetitions as possible), followed by 10sec recovery. Repeat this process 8 times (20sec exercise + 10sec recovery x 8).
In short, there are 8 times of 20sec. You can choose to always perform the same exercise and repeat it 8 times, or you can group two exercises and perform each one of them 4 times, or you can even use 8 different exercises and do them only once each.
For the bravest, RM Trainer challenges them to perform the Extreme Tabata, which consists of a circuit without pauses, that is, using an active recovery (such as skipping or jumping jacs, for example) in periods of 10sec.
Depending on your goals and what you want to work on, it is suggested that you apply 4 or 5 circuits with little rest in between. In the end, we are talking about a high intensity workout that “stole” you just 20 minutes out of your day.
This is a great way to optimize your workout and work harder in less time. RM Trainer suggests that you try this training based on functionality, integrated movements, performance and above all, a lot of intensity!
Heads up! It is not enough to use the Tabata method by executing the timing all right. If you don't instill maximum intensity then it's just an interval workout. So the intensity is the key!
Nowadays, it is increasingly important to make the most of the little time available. So, this is without a doubt an excellent training tool with proven results!
If you don't feel confident yet or if you are one of those (the vast majority) who cannot challenge themselves enough to get out of their comfort zone, then seek the help and guidance of a qualified professional trainer. It will make all the difference!
Good training!
